Suzuki Marine Europa

Editors and journalists from Europe’s top marine publications were at the centre of the action this week in Helsinki for Suzuki’s European launch of its new DF90, DF80 and DF70 outboards. Out on the Finnish water the press could experience for themselves the first of the new generation 4-stroke outboards, putting a line up of 12 test boats through their paces in the Gulf of Finland.

Designed specifically for the European market, the 90, 80 and 70 HP engines are launched as leaders in their class and feature Suzuki’s innovative lean-burn control system for the most fuel-efficient performance. They combine compact size and light weight with many technological advances to deliver exciting power. 

Masahiro Yamamoto, Group Leader European Marketing Group, Marine & Power Products, Suzuki said, “Our Chief Engineer and General Manager –Marine Design and Engineering attended the marina and are very pleased with the enthusiastic reception from the experts in the press.    Europe is our fastest growing market. These new engines are designed to meet the needs of  the market here and bring the new era to the European customer.”

The new generation DF90, DF80 and DF70 engines will be available throughout Europe from October 2008.
